GE Vernova is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for overseeing project control activities and establishing functional specifications for project implementation. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, contributing to the quality and efficiency of engineering projects.

Role Overview

The Project Engineering Manager holds overall responsibility for project control activities and for defining consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation. This role aims to enhance understanding and meet client expectations, influencing functional domain approaches, projects, programs, and affected working methods. The manager significantly contributes to priority setting and impacts the quality and efficiency of their team, operating with moderate autonomy and requiring a high level of operational discernment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical manager/leader for developing work scope, establishing planning, and controlling client project engineering activities.
• Provide technical leadership and act as an interface with proposal management, cost estimation, partners, clients, GE Vernova Product Engineering, procurement, and engineering subcontractors.
• Develop specialized knowledge within the discipline and provide guidance on best practices and quality.
• Stay informed about the latest technical developments in the field.
• Contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring implementation within the scope of responsibility.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of best practices and understand how the role integrates with other functions.
• Possess working knowledge of competitors and market differentiators.
• Exercise judgment to make decisions or resolve moderately complex tasks or problems across operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
• Adopt new perspectives on existing solutions and use technical experience and data analysis expertise to support recommendations.
• Leverage limited internal and external resources outside of own function for decision-making.
• Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects with moderate risk and resource needs.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information and strive to build consensus.
• Develop persuasive skills to influence others on topics within the area of expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced experience in the function and digital audio workstation (DAW).
• Master's level knowledge from an accredited university, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in the field.
