About the Project Manager (Civil) Role

King Salman International Airport in Riyadh is seeking a Project Manager (Civil) to oversee the design and construction phases of civil engineering projects. This full-time role requires coordinating project execution to ensure alignment with objectives, timelines, and quality standards, while maintaining safety and operational efficiency for the timely delivery of high-quality facilities.

Core Responsibilities

The Project Manager (Civil) will be responsible for comprehensive project management, including developing project charters and detailed plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, costs, and resource allocation. Key duties involve coordinating stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring progress against milestones, identifying and managing risks, and overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans, schedules, budgets, and standards. The role also includes evaluating change requests and their impact on project parameters, and ensuring a smooth project handover, complete with necessary permits, documentation, and operational readiness requirements.

Technical Oversight in Civil Engineering

This position requires a strong technical focus on civil infrastructure. Responsibilities include reviewing and coordinating civil infrastructure designs encompassing roads, utilities, drainage, and site development works. The Project Manager will monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications, and coordinate interfaces between civil works and other engineering disciplines. A critical aspect involves reviewing technical submittals, shop drawings, and construction methodologies, as well as supporting quality inspections and site progress monitoring.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures

The role mandates strict adherence to all relevant company policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. The Project Manager will support the resolution of escalated issues, provide necessary assistance, and escalate complex matters to the appropriate authorities when required, ensuring smooth project operations and compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar project management role or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Proven experience in construction supervision.
• Experience with site development and utilities.
• Proficiency in technical drawing review.
• Strong capabilities in project coordination and stakeholder management.
