Project Manager Fire Protection Systems

About the Role

Guarantee Business Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Fire Protection Systems to lead and deliver fire protection projects in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of fire protection system projects. This includes planning, execution, and final handover, while coordinating with various stakeholders and supervising project teams to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of fire protection system projects from planning to final handover.
• Review project scope, specifications, drawings, BOQs, contracts, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower, material requirements, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Supervise the installation and execution of various fire protection systems, including Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Standpipe and Hose Reel Systems, Fire Hydrant Systems, FM-200 / Clean Agent Systems, Foam Fire Suppression Systems, Water Mist Systems, and other Fire & Life Safety Systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate technical submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection requests, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, addressing delays, technical issues, and resource constraints.
• Lead project engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project personnel, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection, and final handover of fire protection systems.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and additional works.
• Review and approve project-related technical and commercial documents within assigned authority.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and company safety procedures.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Maintain proper project records, progress reports, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of punch-list items and project closeout activities.
• Support business development and estimation teams by providing technical and project-related input.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and client coordination.
• Proven experience managing multiple fire protection projects and supervising project teams.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, utility, or government projects is preferred.
• Experience dealing with consultants, main contractors, and major clients.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian fire protection standards, project requirements, and authority approvals.
• Knowledge of Civil Defense / local authority requirements is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications in project management or fire protection are an advantage.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the interview process.
