The Role of Project Manager

Velents Technologies is seeking a Saudi Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI implementations for government and enterprise clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves managing projects from kickoff through go-live and handover. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and will coordinate technical teams in Riyadh and Cairo, as well as external partner teams. This position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who understand the operational dynamics of Saudi government and enterprise projects and are focused on delivering AI products into production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage multiple concurrent client projects, covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Act as the day-to-day client lead, conducting steering committees, status meetings, and progress reporting in both Arabic and English.
• Translate client requirements and tender scopes into clear delivery plans, work breakdowns, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with solution and engineering teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-border teams, including engineering, AI/ML, QA, customer success, and external partners.
• Manage project documentation for government clients, such as project charters, SOWs, change requests, UAT sign-offs, handover packages, and closure reports.
• Track milestones related to invoicing and payment, and collaborate with the finance department to maintain collection schedules.
• Identify risks and dependencies proactively, escalating issues with clear options rather than unexpected problems.
• Ensure deliveries comply with local regulatory and data requirements, including PDPL, NDMO data management standards, and client security policies, in coordination with technical and compliance teams.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing delivery plans, timelines, and effort estimates for proposals and Etimad tenders.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to the improvement of Velents' delivery playbook.
