About Rumaar Company and the Role

Rumaar Company (شركة رونق الاعمار) is seeking Project Managers to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing significant construction projects, specifically the rehabilitation, renovation, and finishing of schools. Six Project Manager positions are available across various cities, including Riyadh, Al Qassim, Hail, Medina, Al Baha, and Asir, with one manager assigned per school project.

Role Context and Scope

The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of assigned projects from award through to closing and final handover. This includes leading site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work completion within intensive implementation periods, and maintaining strict control over project parameters. The role demands a focus on quality, safety, cost, and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project work comprehensively from award to closing and handover.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors, overseeing both work shifts.
• Ensure timely completion of work on site within intensive implementation periods.
• Monitor project timeline, quality, safety, cost, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with consultants and owners, managing approvals and submissions.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports, and address project obstacles and deviations.
• Manage receipts, tests, punch lists, and final project handover procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience, including demonstrated actual experience in project management.
• Proven experience in rehabilitation, renovation, finishing, and fast-track projects.
• PMP certification is considered an added advantage.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in managing subcontractors, project schedules, and risks.
• Good experience with technical procedures, inspection requests, and executive plans.
• Strong skills in leadership, communication, and reporting.
• Proficiency in using Excel and relevant project management software.
• Preference for immediate availability.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, with specific project assignments in Riyadh, Al Qassim, Hail, Medina, Al Baha, or Asir. The role requires on-site presence and active management of project operations.
