About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves conducting on-site inspections to ensure that all materials and workmanship adhere to project specifications, relevant codes, and established standards. The role is critical in maintaining the high quality and integrity of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for a range of inspection activities and quality control procedures, ensuring compliance throughout various project phases. This includes detailed oversight of construction processes and materials.

• Inspect road construction activities, including earthworks, subgrade, Granular Sub-Base (GSB), sub-base, and asphalt works.
• Verify materials against approved specifications and confirm compliance through test results.
• Maintain accurate daily inspection reports and comprehensive checklists.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors to address and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and facilitate improvements in workmanship.
• Participate in joint inspections alongside client and consultant representatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and all project Quality Control (QC) procedures.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess a solid background in quality inspection within construction environments. The role requires practical experience and a thorough understanding of construction standards.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably within road construction or similar infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in documenting inspection findings and managing non-conformance issues.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for effective interaction with contractors, clients, and consultants.
