About Laverne Group
Laverne Group is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to maintaining high quality standards across the company's operations.
The Role of Quality Officer
The Quality Officer will be based within Warehouse Operations and is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products. This involves upholding approved standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) through rigorous quality control procedures, production monitoring, and meticulous documentation and reporting to support product quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control inspections on raw materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Inspect finished products and verify adherence to quality standards before release.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and compliance with approved procedures.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Identify quality issues and report deviations to relevant teams for corrective action.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections, reports, and records.
- Support investigations related to quality issues and non-conformities.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure proper handling and storage conditions for materials and products.
- Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare periodic quality reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Support compliance with regulatory and company quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic understanding of quality control processes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
- Preferred: Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
- Preferred: Experience in documentation and audit processes.
- Preferred: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
