About the Role

Marco is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with a proven track record of over 10 years in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely bills of quantities (BOQs) in the required format.
• Identify and report any missing or duplicate items in client-provided BOQs to superiors.
• Prioritize and quantify major items and long-lead quotations necessary for inquiries.
• At project launch, prepare detailed BOQs, particularly for re-measured contracts.
• Develop "packages" from detailed quantity takeoffs and communicate them to the Procurement department.
• Continuously update BOQs based on construction developments, including variations and detailed design completion, and distribute updated quantities to relevant departments (Operations, Procurement, Cost Control).
• Review and respond to all correspondence related to payments and variations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare all payment applications and variations for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Gather and verify all necessary data and documents from site and other departments for main contract payments, variations, and financial aspects of claims with clients.
• Provide support to the Project Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing main contract payment applications.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities and managing contract variations.
• Experience in handling payments and financial claims with clients and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction developments and their impact on project costs.
