The Role of Receiver

Boutique Group is seeking a Receiver to join the team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for the accurate receiving, inspection, and recording of all goods delivered to The Red Palace. The Receiver ensures strict compliance with purchase orders, quality standards, and established internal control procedures, reporting directly to the Cost Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming goods, materials, and supplies in accordance with approved Purchase Orders (POs).
• Verify the quantity, quality, and specifications of delivered items against delivery notes and POs.
• Inspect goods for damage, expiry dates, and overall quality, rejecting any non-compliant items.
• Ensure all received items are properly documented, stamped, and signed.
• Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and submit all required documentation to the Finance department.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, and other relevant departments regarding any discrepancies or shortages.
• Ensure timely delivery of received items to appropriate storage locations or departments.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the receiving area.
• Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and hygiene standards, particularly for food and beverage items.
• Support inventory counts and audits as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of previous experience in a similar receiving or store role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and documentation procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards is considered an advantage.
