About the Role

Chalhoub Group, a leader in delivering luxury experiences in the Middle East for over seven decades, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Commercial Manager to join its Beauty division in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role aims to maximize commercial performance and enhance customer, partner, and employee experiences across multiple beauty stores. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in leading the execution of brand strategies, ensuring seamless marketing initiatives and customer experience, and maintaining brand integrity in each market.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of brand strategy across the retail network in line with overall company objectives.
  • Partner with the marketing department to ensure full execution of marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, while appropriately adapting them for each specific market.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop annual sales plans and set ambitious yet achievable targets.
  • Continuously monitor discounts, margins, and profitability to ensure business performance sustainability.
  • Track sales performance and stock levels, proactively managing any potential shortages or risks.
  • Review incoming orders and provide commercial coordination teams with updates on stock status and potential stock gaps.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and performance insights to guide commercial strategies.
  • Deliver comprehensive, data-backed commercial reports including quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Identify and monitor individual and team sales targets across the organization.
  • Own and manage the brand's P&L and overall financial performance.
  • Comprehensively assess brand performance and recommend strategic actions for improvement.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring all activities remain within approved budgets.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial updates to senior management.
  • Develop, train, and motivate team members to drive high performance and engagement.
  • Closely monitor team performance, conducting regular feedback sessions and performance appraisals.
  • Lead overall sales performance across the designated region.
  • Lead and develop a large retail team, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Ensure strong commercial and financial acumen is embedded within store operations.
  • Maintain strong market awareness through proactive and hands-on field presence.
  • Identify new market opportunities and provide relevant market intelligence to the leadership team.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and support key initiatives across departments.
  • Enhance understanding of categories contributing to the overall improvement of business performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A background in retail is essential, with a strong preference for experience within the beauty industry.
  • Profiles from the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector may be considered if they possess significant and relevant retail experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a proactive and collaborative work environment.
  • A demonstrated commercial mindset coupled with strong financial acumen is required to drive performance and achieve results.
