About the Role

Abdullah Abdulaziz AlRajhi & Sons Holding is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to enhancing the company's governance framework by contributing to the development and implementation of robust risk and compliance management practices.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to safeguard the company's operations by actively identifying and assessing potential risks, overseeing the execution of their treatment plans, and ensuring strict adherence to all internal regulations, bylaws, and established policies. The specialist will play a crucial part in maintaining a strong control environment.

Risk Management Responsibilities

• Implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) methodology across the organization.
• Identify operational, strategic, and financial risks in close collaboration with various departments.
• Prepare and regularly update the company's Risk Register.
• Collaborate with internal audit management on the development of risk-based audit plans.
• Assess identified risks based on their likelihood and potential impact.
• Monitor the effective implementation of approved risk treatment plans.
• Develop and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide early warnings.
• Contribute to fostering a strong risk management culture throughout the company.

Compliance Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to internal regulations, bylaws, and established company policies.
• Review existing policies and procedures, proposing necessary updates and improvements.
• Oversee the implementation of all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular Compliance Testing to evaluate effectiveness.
• Monitor non-compliance cases and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Contribute to raising compliance awareness through targeted training and educational initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports detailing the status of risk and compliance.
• Develop and deliver presentations for executive management and relevant committees.
• Prepare periodic risk reports for management review.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in risk management and compliance roles. A strong understanding of enterprise risk management methodologies and regulatory compliance frameworks is essential.
