About the Role

Carrier, a global leader in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, fire, security, and cold chain solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineering Associate. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on supporting Carrier's Service and Aftermarket business, including service agreements and repair solutions.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Sales Engineering Associate will contribute to sales growth by supporting customer relationship management, developing business opportunities, preparing proposals, and providing technical support to customers. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams and customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable solutions, and drive revenue growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales activities related to service agreements, service repairs, and aftermarket solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers, ensuring timely follow-up on customer inquiries.
  • Support negotiations to achieve optimal profitability and business outcomes.
  • Drive order bookings in alignment with sales targets and business objectives.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and identify opportunities to develop new business.
  • Understand customer requirements, business challenges, and market opportunities to support service revenue growth.
  • Provide professional proposals, offerings, and technical support for connected and digitalized service solutions.
  • Support payment collection activities and ensure timely resolution of outstanding customer accounts.
  • Identify and acquire sales opportunities while contributing to financial targets.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and provide updates to management.
  • Execute customer visit plans and maintain regular engagement with customers.
  • Promote Carrier solutions, increase product awareness, and educate customers on available service offerings.
  • Support sales channel development and expansion for service agreements and repair businesses.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales support capacity.
  • Proven capability in supporting sales activities, preparing commercial offers, and managing customer relationships.
  • Technical understanding relevant to HVAC, refrigeration, or similar service solutions.
  • Ability to provide technical support and develop proposals for connected and digitalized service offerings.
