About the Role
Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development within the freight forwarding and warehousing sector, with a specific focus on FMCG and F&B clients in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics sales, particularly within the FMCG and food & beverage industries, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand freight forwarding and warehousing services.
- Identify and secure new clients within the FMCG and F&B sectors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Promote a range of logistics solutions, including air freight, sea freight, land transportation, and warehousing.
- Prepare customized proposals, pricing structures, and negotiate contracts.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the FMCG and F&B industries.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Achieve and exceed established sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics sales, specifically in freight forwarding and/or warehousing.
- Proven experience in handling FMCG or F&B clients within Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated track record in business development and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain requirements for FMCG and food products.
- A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
