The Role: Sales Officer

Alfanar Engineering Services is seeking a dedicated Sales Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for identifying and developing new business opportunities, promoting the company's service portfolio, and converting qualified leads into sales orders. The Sales Officer will also be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring effective handling of RFQs, proposals, and all client communications, coordinating internally to meet deadlines and close opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop business opportunities within infrastructure and private sector projects.
• Promote and sell company services, including Testing & Commissioning, Maintenance, O&M Support, and Calibration.
• Receive, log, track, and manage RFQs and customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and response.
• Coordinate internally with tendering, operations, and technical teams to ensure proposal accuracy, compliance, and on-time submission.
• Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and supporting sales documents aligned with client requirements.
• Support technical clarifications in coordination with tender and operations teams to address client questions and scope alignment.
• Follow up on quotations, conduct client follow-ups, and negotiate commercial terms to close sales.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, client databases, and sales activity logs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term account growth.
• Prepare sales presentations, company profiles, and marketing/sales collateral.
• Support contract documentation, follow up on PO issuance, and coordinate required documentation until order confirmation.
• Attend and represent the company in client meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and opportunity pipeline updates for management review.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sales Officer position should possess:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or a similar role within the engineering services sector.

Service Portfolio and Market Focus

The Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling a comprehensive range of engineering services, including Testing & Commissioning, Maintenance, O&M Support, and Calibration. The primary market focus will be on identifying and developing business opportunities across infrastructure and private sector projects.
