The role requires a deep understanding of the heavy machinery industry, market trends, and specific customer requirements in Saudi Arabia, with candidates expected to have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Sales and Business Development

The Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the heavy machinery sector. Key activities include:

• Developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead generation.
• Meeting or exceeding established sales targets and quotas.
• Negotiating terms and conditions of sales agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Preparing and presenting proposals, contracts, and agreements to customers.
• Closing sales and ensuring a smooth handover to the operations team for order fulfillment.

Customer Relationship Management and Product Expertise

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and serving as a product expert. Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
• Understanding client needs and providing solutions that meet their specific requirements.
• Conducting regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
• Staying updated on the latest heavy machinery products and industry trends.
• Conducting product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Providing technical assistance and support to customers during the sales process.

Market Analysis and Reporting

The Sales Specialist will also contribute to market intelligence and maintain accurate sales records. Key tasks include:

• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Providing feedback to the management team on market developments and potential growth areas.
• Assisting in the development of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
• Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Ensuring all documentation and contracts are completed accurately and promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

• 5-10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the heavy machinery or mining equipment sector.
• Demonstrated understanding of the heavy machinery industry, market trends, and customer requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Possession of a valid Saudi Arabia Driver’s License.
