About the Role

HCLTech is looking for an SAP FICA - REFX - FI Consultant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role aims to bridge the gap between complex financial accounting operations and specialized operational processes, focusing on designing and implementing integrated solutions to ensure seamless integration between Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX), and core Financial Accounting (FI). The effective candidate will be instrumental in optimizing high-volume invoicing, lease accounting, and automated financial processing.

Role Responsibilities

• Configure and manage master data for SAP FI-CA, including postings and reversals, and oversee the deferred revenue process.
• Implement and manage automated clearing controls and ensure robust closing activities within SAP FI-CA.
• Perform comprehensive SAP FI-CA system configuration to support business requirements.
• Configure invoicing and billing processes within Convergent Invoicing (CI) for high-volume industries, with a preference for public sector clients.
• Manage mass processing of billable items and effectively handle credit memos, write-offs, and reversals.
• Leverage expertise in various events in both FICA and CI modules.
• Prepare automated payments, manage returns processing, and reconcile bank statements, external cash records, and payment lots.
• Design automated collection levels, integrate with collection agencies, and implement write-off procedures.
• Ensure a deep understanding and application of FICA to GL reconciliation and the posting logic from RE-FX to FI.
• Integrate SAP FICA and RE-FX with external non-SAP applications.
• Configure and manage property portfolio management in SAP RE-FX, including architectural and usability views of real estate objects like buildings, land, and rental units.
• Design and maintain lease contracts (Lessor/Lessee) within SAP RE-FX, covering index-based rent adjustments, renewals, and terminations.
• Ensure all lease accounting practices comply with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 standards, including international valuation and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate seamless postings from RE-FX and FI-CA to the General Ledger (GL) within SAP FI.
• Configure tax codes, judicial reporting, and manage month-end closing activities in SAP FI.
• Manage standard vendor and customer accounts where they intersect with contract accounting in SAP FI.
• Support the Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) cycle through investment orders and possess basic knowledge of the Asset Accounting module, including asset master data, acquisition, and depreciation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in SAP FICA, RE-FX, and FI consulting.
• Proven experience in configuring and implementing SAP FI-CA functionalities.
• Clear experience with Convergent Invoicing, especially in high-volume billing scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with SAP RE-FX for real estate management and lease accounting.
• Strong understanding of core SAP FI functionalities, including integration with General Ledger, taxation, and reporting.
• Experience with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 compliance is essential.
• Familiarity with the Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) cycle through investment orders and basic knowledge of Asset Accounting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• SAP FI: General Ledger (GL) integration, postings from RE-FX and FI-CA to GL, taxation and reporting, tax codes, judicial reporting, month-end closing activities, vendor/customer accounts, standard vendor/customer accounts, asset accounting, Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) cycle via investment order, asset master data, acquisition, depreciation.
