About the Role

JCA Associates is seeking an SAP Logistics Architect with a specialization in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM). This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working with a global client. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust supply chain and procurement systems.

Role Purpose

The SAP Logistics Architect will lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP MM solutions. This involves translating complex business requirements into effective system designs and ensuring seamless integration across various logistics functions to optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business workshops to gather and analyze requirements for supply chain and procurement processes.
• Develop master design plans and strategic roadmaps for SAP MM and integrated logistics solutions.
• Configure core SAP MM modules, including purchasing, inventory management, and material valuation.
• Integrate SAP MM with other logistics systems such as Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM).
• Review and validate partner designs, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of experience as an SAP Logistics Architect or in a similar senior role focused on SAP MM. Demonstrated expertise in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions within complex supply chain environments is essential.

Project Context

This role supports a global client on a long-term project aimed at enhancing their supply chain and procurement capabilities. The architect will be instrumental in connecting various logistics tools and ensuring system stability and performance.
