About the SAP MII Consultant Role

Avensys Consulting, a global IT professional services company, is seeking experienced SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence) Consultants and Technical Leads. This role is part of a significant SAP transformation program within the Oil & Gas sector, focusing on SAP RISE migration, SAP S/4HANA conversion, SAP CPI implementation, integration modernization, and manufacturing digitalization. Avensys Consulting has a decade of experience serving diverse clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP MII solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Integrate SAP MII with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Configure and support SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo).
• Develop real-time dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and manufacturing analytics.
• Integrate shop-floor systems, including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and MES.
• Implement historian integrations with systems such as AspenTech ** and OSI PI.
• Support the migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI.
• Design manufacturing integration solutions aligned with ISA-95 standards.
• Participate in SAP RISE and S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis for SAP MII solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, plant operations teams, and system integrators.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP MII.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP MII implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
• Experience with SAP RISE and S/4HANA migration programs is preferred.
• Prior experience working on projects within the KSA or GCC region is advantageous.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities, or Process Manufacturing industries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP MII architecture and development.
• Proficiency with SAP PCo (Plant Connectivity).
• Experience integrating with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience integrating with PLC, SCADA, DCS, OPC, or MES systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing historians such as AspenTech **, OSI PI, or Honeywell PHD.
• Experience in real-time data acquisition and manufacturing analytics.
• Strong knowledge of ISA-95 manufacturing standards.
• Experience with SAP CPI and cloud integration is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud integration is beneficial.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent collaboration skills.

Contract Details and Location

This is a contract position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
