Role Overview

Wuzzuf is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Design Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role operates within the Outsourcing/Offshoring industry, focusing on the design and implementation of secure architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and ensuring all security measures align with industry standards and best practices. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all stages of project development, thereby protecting organizational assets and client data.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop security frameworks, architectures, and protocols that meet client needs and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security features throughout the system development life cycle.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and regulations to proactively enhance security measures.
• Produce detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, security policies, and incident response plans.
• Provide expert guidance and support in security incidents and breaches, assisting in investigation and mitigation efforts.
• Facilitate security awareness training and best practice workshops for employees and clients.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Security Engineer or in a similar role focused on secure system design.

Technical Skills and Certifications

• Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and best practices (*, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions and technologies, as well as the principles of secure software development.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Key Competencies

• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies in an outsourcing environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
