About the Role

Accenture Middle East is seeking a Security Managed Services Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. Accenture is a global professional services company specializing in digital, cloud, and security, with a network of Advanced Technology and Intelligent Operations centres serving clients in over 120 countries.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the initial investigation and triage of potential security incidents, escalating or closing events as appropriate. You will monitor the Security Operations Center (SOC) ticket queue for events reported by external entities and individual users, and review the latest security alerts to take action based on defined remediation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform initial investigation and triage of potential security incidents.
Escalate or close security events as applicable.
Monitor the SOC ticket queue (email/phone) for reported events.
Review security alerts and execute remediation processes.
Create incidents based on established processes and alerts.
Support incident remediation and investigation efforts.
Update Knowledge Base ("KB") articles or runbooks.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and intrusion detection solutions.
Incident and Problem Management skills.
Experience with sandbox solutions.
Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure, Google).
Security analysis skills, including logfile analysis and analysis of mixed data sources/types.
Basic skills in forensic analysis and threat hunting.
Ability to manipulate and present data.
Fundamental understanding of network protocols and architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.
