About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a Security Technical Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to designing and implementing robust security architectures that protect systems, applications, and infrastructure. The Security Technical Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements throughout the system design and development lifecycle, ensuring technology solutions are secure, compliant, and meet industry standards. This position contributes to NTT DATA's reputation for technical excellence and innovation by embedding security into all projects.

This opportunity involves evaluating and selecting security technologies, establishing and enforcing security policies, and leading incident response activities. The role ensures solutions align with client objectives and regulatory requirements, supporting NTT DATA's commitment to accelerating client success and positively impacting society through responsible innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise security architecture framework aligned with business strategy, technology roadmaps, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end security solutions across network, cloud, application, infrastructure, and data security domains.
  • Conduct detailed security assessments of new and existing systems, identifying vulnerabilities and defining mitigation plans.
  • Create and maintain security architecture documentation, including diagrams, patterns, reference models, policies, and standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to IT, infrastructure, development, cloud, and product teams, ensuring security is integrated into all technology initiatives.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and drive the adoption of emerging security technologies and advanced security capabilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed security into all phases of the technology lifecycle, from design through deployment and operations.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to security engineering teams and broader technical teams.
  • Design security architectures that safeguard systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Integrate security requirements throughout the system design and development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers to embed security into projects.
  • Evaluate and select security technologies.
  • Create and enforce security policies.
  • Lead incident response activities.
  • Set technical standards and provide pre-sales technical support.
  • Manage client proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from proposed solutions to delivery.
  • Document executive summaries, statements of work, and network diagrams.
  • Oversee pricing formats and validate proposals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • CISSP certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in security architecture, design, or enterprise security engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing security solutions within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of industry security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, and secure architecture principles.
  • Deep understanding of network security, cryptography, Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud security models, and modern application security practices.
  • Hands-on experience securing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to drive decisions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
