Role Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for defining and implementing security architectures to protect client digital assets and ensure business resilience. You will engage with various technologies and frameworks, collaborating with senior stakeholders to integrate secure-by-design principles into enterprise-level projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define comprehensive security architectures covering cloud, Identity and Access Management (IAM), system, and network security.
  • Develop target-state, reference, and solution architectures aligned with business objectives and risk posture.
  • Ensure security architectures are scalable, resilient, and adhere to Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles.
  • Produce and maintain architecture artifacts, including diagrams, design documents, and security standards.
  • Architect enterprise-grade IAM, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions using tools such as SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, and Entra ID.
  • Design secure authentication and authorization models, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)/Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and identity lifecycle management.
  • Define privileged access strategies, secrets management approaches, and least-privilege enforcement models.
  • Provide architectural oversight for the secure integration of IAM platforms with cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.
  • Design security architectures for cloud and hybrid platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Define security controls for operating systems, platforms, and middleware, focusing on hardening, segmentation, and access controls.
  • Architect network security solutions, including segmentation, secure connectivity, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
  • Align architectural decisions with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, and SABSA.
  • Participate in architecture review boards, design authorities, and security governance forums.
  • Support threat modeling, architecture risk assessments, and design trade-off decisions.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of secure-by-design principles across programs and delivery teams.
  • Act as a Security Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance to engineers and solution teams.
  • Engage with client stakeholders, including senior IT, security, and risk leaders.
  • Mentor junior architects and security engineers.
  • Contribute to solutioning, proposals, and client workshops as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Security Architect or equivalent architecture role.
  • Strong hands-on background across Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, System/Platform Security, and Network Security.
  • Experience designing security architectures for enterprise and large-scale environments.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
