About the Role

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Vantage M&A and Financial Modelling team, based in Riyadh. This full-time role involves contributing expertise to Mergers & Acquisitions, Post-Merger Integration, and Carve-out projects within the Transactions & Integrations practice.

Role Context and Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst within BCG's Transactions & Integrations (TI) practice, you will deliver value to clients through individual expertise and knowledge assets. You will support case teams and proposals by providing relevant analysis and insights on M&A, PMI, and Carve-out topics. Occasional travel to client sites may be required to understand requirements and develop solutions. You will also contribute to commercialization efforts, including proposals and marketing materials, and assist in developing intellectual property and onboarding junior colleagues.

The Transactions & Integrations business is a significant and growing practice at BCG, supporting both corporate and private equity clients in executing transactions and maximizing value creation. The practice offers end-to-end transaction support, from strategic decision-making to post-merger integration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and creating detailed business plans and financial models for M&A, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Applying understanding of the buy-side and sell-side M&A process, including key steps and documentation.
  • Contributing Transaction and Corporate Finance expertise to product/tool development and deployment, considering various client contexts.
  • Collaborating effectively in group dynamics, including virtual and agile environments.
  • Communicating with senior stakeholders in a credible, structured, and confident manner.
  • Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property through clear and concise writing.
  • Working creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios with time limitations.
  • Contributing to commercialization efforts, client workshops, and marketing materials.
  • Developing intellectual property and assets for the business.
  • Assisting in onboarding and training junior colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of consulting experience in relevant topics such as Transactions/M&A, Corporate Finance, Integrations/PMI, or Business Separations/Carve-outs is required. Consulting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of industry experience is required, with 4-6 years strongly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages, such as Arabic, is beneficial.
  • Knowledge and experience with new-age financial modeling tools (*, Anaplan) and advanced Excel tools (*, Power Pivot) are beneficial.

Work Environment and Collaboration

You will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to serve internal and external clients. The Transactions & Integrations Vantage Team comprises over 20 analysts globally, who are deeply involved in client work and the development of publications, intellectual property, and tools for the practice area. Vantage members leverage deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients, support business development, and codify knowledge to deliver business value.
