UCC Holding is recruiting for a Senior Architect to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring architectural excellence across various projects.

The Senior Architect Role

The Senior Architect is responsible for ensuring all architectural requirements for projects are properly coordinated and complied with. This involves achieving the full intent of the design while maintaining the highest levels of quality and adhering to programming requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for complex projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulations.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, providing technical expertise and fostering professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy and feasibility of designs, coordinating with engineering teams to address structural and technical challenges.
  • Maintain high standards of design quality, reviewing and approving architectural plans and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all designs and projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration between different stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
  • Prepare and oversee detailed architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the design process to enhance project outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 to 12 years of working experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with mega contracting companies, specifically in the handling of mega projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
