About the Senior Buyer Role at Nice One

Nice One is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join its procurement team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing sourcing and purchasing activities, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring timely product delivery. The successful candidate will contribute to cost-saving and inventory optimization initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to ensure supply continuity, quality, and competitive pricing.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; manage ongoing supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and resolve performance or quality issues promptly.
• Create and issue purchase orders, monitor order confirmations, track deliveries, and ensure accuracy of pricing and terms in accordance with company policy.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, lead times, payment terms, and service levels to achieve cost savings and improve total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with demand planning and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and minimize stockouts.
• Work closely with product, quality, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business needs and ensure smooth product launches and replenishment.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements; identify and mitigate supply risks.
• Prepare regular reports on spend, supplier performance, savings, and market trends; use data to inform sourcing decisions and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and transparency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in a procurement or buying role.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
• Proven analytical ability for data-driven decision making.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to procurement activities.
