About CEER and the Role

CEER is seeking a Senior Counsel, Compliance to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to enhancing the organization's adherence to regulatory standards and ethical practices.

Role Overview

The Senior Counsel, Compliance will play a critical role in supporting CEER's Risk Management and compliance activities. This involves ensuring strict alignment with applicable laws and regulations, proactively monitoring risks, and actively contributing to the implementation of robust governance frameworks to promote ethical and compliant operations across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate compliance advice related to CEER’s operations, ensuring alignment with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and clarify requirements with internal stakeholders to support compliance and resolve compliance matters.
  • Support and develop compliance policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational governance standards.
  • Check and monitor compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and administrative regulations across CEER's activities.
  • Track and follow up on the implementation of penal and administrative decisions to ensure alignment with CEER policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Analyze compliance and regulatory risks affecting CEER’s operations and prepare recommendations for mitigation actions.
  • Gather and track regulatory updates, judicial rulings, and industry developments, and prepare periodic compliance reports.
  • Review and apply compliance requirements when assessing third parties’ activities to ensure compliance.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a compliance or legal role, preferably within a regulated industry. A proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and contributing to effective compliance programs is highly valued.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires a dedicated presence to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
