About the Role

Sword Group is seeking a Senior Data Manager to lead a client's enterprise-wide Data Management Platform (DMP) initiative in Riyadh. This full-time role involves acting as the organization's key data authority, overseeing the strategic data platform implementation, governing enterprise data assets, and managing relationships with implementation partners and technology vendors. The position combines data management leadership, enterprise architecture, data governance, and hands-on technical expertise, with a focus on supervising external system integrators to ensure the delivered platform meets all business, technical, governance, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of the enterprise Data Management Platform, defining the organization's data strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
• Act as the primary client-side data lead, managing and supervising implementation partners and third-party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review solution designs, architecture, deliverables, project plans, and technical documentation to ensure project milestones, quality standards, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
• Establish and enforce data governance processes, define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models, and develop enterprise data quality frameworks and KPIs.
• Lead data integration initiatives across SAP and non-SAP systems, supporting master data management, data migration, and data harmonization projects.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to define target-state architecture, reviewing integration patterns, data models, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and data flows.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on all data-related matters, facilitating communication and presenting project status, risks, recommendations, and governance updates.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Catalog solutions.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise data architectures.
• Strong experience working with SAP data environments is highly preferred, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or SAP MDG.
