About the Senior Director - Entertainment Strategy Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is developing entertainment and leisure opportunities in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Senior Director - Entertainment Strategy to guide the strategic direction of our entertainment assets and initiatives, focusing on creating memorable visitor experiences. This full-time position is based in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia.

Strategic Development and Oversight

In this role, you will support the Senior Executive Director of Entertainment Strategy in developing and executing the overarching entertainment asset class strategy to achieve portfolio and asset ambitions, vision, and objectives. You will oversee the design and early development stages of new entertainment assets, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s entertainment offering and financial targets. This includes leading research and delivery of new entertainment concepts, understanding their value proposition, preparing feasibility assessments, and developing high-level implementation roadmaps.

Project Management and Execution

A key aspect of this position involves managing contracted vendors, IP licensors, and other third parties to ensure deliverables align with the overall project vision, offering, and relevant briefs. You will develop initial go-live strategies, including operating models, pricing, sales and marketing, and manpower planning, and provide implementation support to other Qiddiya functions. Additionally, you will prepare presentations and materials for seeking necessary approvals from Qiddiya Stage governance, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors.

Performance Monitoring and Planning

You will collaborate closely with the Qiddiya Entertainment Business Unit and other stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of new projects and alignment with directives. This includes establishing and monitoring key project KPIs across development, business, financial, and operational plans. You will also prepare and monitor annual budgets, hiring plans, and strategic and implementation plans relevant to the Entertainment Strategy function.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in entertainment strategy, asset management, or related domains is required. Experience in the entertainment industry is essential for this role.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role requires a significant level of experience, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional background.
