Senior Finance & Financial Controls Consultant

About the Role

Adecco is seeking a Senior Finance & Financial Controls Consultant for a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting a financial assessment and improvement project across multiple subsidiaries, focusing on financial advisory, group financial control, or audit expertise.

Role Overview

The Senior Finance & Financial Controls Consultant will be responsible for providing hands-on expertise in revenue assessment, IFRS compliance, internal controls, and financial performance analysis. The position requires a professional with strong experience in financial advisory or audit to drive financial improvements and ensure compliance within the organization's subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Review revenue cycles, including billing, collections, and revenue recognition, ensuring alignment with IFRS 15.
• Identify instances of revenue leakage, accounting discrepancies, and potential financial risks.
• Assess internal financial controls, segregation of duties, and approval workflows.
• Develop risk and control matrices and implement corrective actions to address identified control weaknesses.
• Analyze financial statements, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and budget variances.
• Review and update accounting policies, financial regulations, and delegation of authority matrices.
• Develop management reporting packs, financial KPIs, and dashboards.
• Prepare comprehensive financial assessments, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial advisory, group financial control, or audit.
• Demonstrated expertise in revenue assessment and IFRS compliance, particularly IFRS 15.
• Proven experience in assessing and implementing internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills for financial performance analysis.
