About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Inspector, specifically a Saudi National, to join its construction supervision team. This role is integral to a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes the creation of iconic parks, open spaces, and extensive streetscape construction. The program aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project or Program Manager with the administration of Health, Safety, and Environment (SH&E) programs.
  • Conduct audits of the project or program and its associated worksites to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Inspect worksites to identify potential hazards and provide expert guidance to project personnel for the elimination or control of SH&E risks associated with hazard exposure.
  • Create and submit comprehensive written audit and inspection reports.
  • Monitor project or program work planning and performance, verifying that planning and work execution conform to Parsons' Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
  • Implement Parsons' established processes for occupational injury and incident reporting and management.
  • Perform trend analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports, creating and submitting regular analysis reports.
  • Assist the Project or Program Manager with new hire orientation sessions.
  • Deliver regulatory and best practice SH&E training to project personnel.
  • Create and maintain accurate SH&E training records.
  • Participate in routine safe work briefings to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
  • Possession of a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or completion of OSHA 30-Hours construction training/license.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Occupational Safety and Health principles and practices.
  • Experience in SH&E Programs Administration.
  • Skilled in Auditing and Hazard Detection.
  • Competent in Risk Assessment and Report Writing.
  • Ability to monitor Work Planning and Performance.
  • Familiarity with the ESHARP Management System.
  • Experience with Occupational Injury and Incident Reporting and Trend Analysis.
  • Capability in conducting New Hire Orientation and SH&E Training, including Training Record Management.
  • Experience in facilitating Safe Work Briefings.

Work Environment and Details

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in Health and Safety.
