As Denara Group expands its asset management capabilities, it seeks a Senior Manager to lead this critical function.

The Opportunity: Senior Manager, Asset Management

The Senior Manager, Asset Management, will be responsible for overseeing all asset management activities within Denara Group. This full-time role involves leading the development and management of investment products and portfolios, ensuring stringent regulatory compliance, and actively supporting the growth of the firm's asset management division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing robust investment processes and developing suitable investment solutions for clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee investment strategies aligned with firm objectives, client needs, risk profiles, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment selection, performance monitoring, and periodic portfolio reviews.
• Support the design, development, and ongoing management of investment products and portfolios, ensuring adherence to client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all asset management activities comply with applicable CMA rules and regulations, including those related to managing activities, investment products, client assets, disclosures, and conduct.
• Establish and monitor appropriate investment risk parameters, limits, controls, and processes to maintain portfolios within approved mandates.
• Monitor financial markets, economic developments, securities, and investment opportunities to support informed investment decisions.
• Track portfolio and product performance, preparing regular investment reports and analysis for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust investment policies, procedures, controls, and documentation for the firm's asset management activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand investment objectives and ensure alignment of investment solutions with client requirements.
• Manage relationships with external investment managers, custodians, brokers, data providers, and other investment service providers.
• Build, manage, and develop the asset management function as the business grows, upholding high professional and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the growth of the asset management business by identifying opportunities for new investment products, strategies, and services.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in asset management or a related financial services role.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and a strong understanding of investment products and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to navigate and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, particularly CMA requirements.
• Experience in developing and implementing investment strategies and risk management frameworks.
• Strong leadership capabilities to build and develop a professional asset management team.

This role requires close collaboration with senior management and various internal functions to establish robust investment processes and develop suitable investment solutions. The Senior Manager will ensure that all asset management activities are conducted in strict accordance with CMA requirements and the firm's internal policies, contributing directly to the strategic growth of Denara Group's asset management capabilities in Riyadh.
