About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager - Commercial to lead the commercial strategy and management for the systems and rolling stock aspects of its transport infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and requires over 10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Commercial - Systems & Rolling Stock will be responsible for overseeing contract negotiations, vendor management, financial reporting, and commercial risk mitigation. The primary objective is to ensure the successful delivery of project components within budgetary, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for systems and rolling stock procurement and maintenance, aligning with project objectives and financial targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations, manage commercial terms, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, including performance reviews, claims management, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, legal, and finance teams for integrated commercial oversight.
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, forecasts, and variances related to systems and rolling stock to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, implementing strategies to minimize exposure and ensure contractual protections.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of commercial reports, presentations, and analyses.
  • Drive localization efforts, ensuring compliance with in-Kingdom value addition and Saudization initiatives.
  • Ensure all commercial activities align with Qiddiya's values, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of commercial management experience within the transport or infrastructure sector, with significant exposure to systems and rolling stock.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and commercial risk management.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in a Middle Eastern context.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
  • Familiarity with localization policies such as IKTVA and Saudization.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced, complex environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role involves working within a complex project environment and requires collaboration across multiple teams.
