The Role of Senior Manager Planning

As a Senior Manager Planning, you will lead planning activities for assigned projects or packages. This part-time role involves close collaboration with the client, consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated and on-track delivery from the design phase through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead integrated programs encompassing design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Review and challenge contractor schedules to ensure realistic sequencing and achievable milestones.
Monitor progress, critical paths, and delivery risks, assisting teams in developing practical recovery plans.
Coordinate package interfaces, specialist fit-out, and long-lead procurement activities.
Provide clear progress reports and recommendations to the client and project leadership.
Lead and develop the planning team, promoting collaboration, safety, and sustainable delivery practices.

Qualifications and Experience

A construction or engineering degree, or an equivalent qualification.
Significant planning experience on large, complex building or mixed-use developments.
Advanced Primavera P6 skills and strong knowledge of progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule analysis.
Experience leading planning teams and working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Clear communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Experience in luxury hospitality, high-end residential, or mixed-use projects is an advantage.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East is also an advantage.
