About the Role

Al Rugaib Holding Company is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the central planning and project controls function within its contracting and construction operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and is critical for ensuring project timelines and financial stability.

Role Purpose and Context

The Planning Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining planning standards across all projects. This role involves overseeing schedules, managing progress reporting, and providing management with reliable forecasts and early warnings to safeguard contractual dates and cash flow. The successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic planning and execution of company projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and project controls function across all company projects.
Set planning standards, templates, and reporting procedures.
Review and approve baseline schedules, updates, and recovery programs.
Prepare consolidated progress, manpower, and cash-flow forecasts for management.
Lead delay analysis and support EOT (Extension of Time) and claims preparation.
Link project schedules with resource and manpower planning across projects.
Supervise and develop planning engineers on all projects.
Present project performance to senior management and the Executive Council when required.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 12 years of experience in planning and project controls within the contracting and construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead a central planning function.
Strong understanding of project scheduling, progress reporting, and forecasting methodologies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, within a dynamic contracting and construction company. The role requires collaboration with various project teams and senior management.
