Planning Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning efforts for construction projects in Riyadh. This full-time role involves combining strategic oversight with hands-on project management, guiding a team of planning professionals, and contributing to planning across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that cover scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress in collaboration with project teams, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Create detailed schedules and dashboards using industry-standard project management software.
• Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• Analyze project data to optimize resource utilization, enhance efficiency, and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Mentor junior planning staff, fostering their professional development and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
• Report project achievements, challenges, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure all planning activities maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project continuity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing project data and making informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide project teams towards achieving shared goals.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and effectively prioritizing tasks.
