Senior Manager Psychology

About the Role

Team Saudi is seeking a Senior Manager Psychology to lead sport psychology services. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and focuses on enhancing athletes’ mental skills, resilience, and performance consistency within Team Saudi’s Olympic and emerging sports programs. The position involves providing direct psychological support to athletes and coaches, implementing mental skills training, and contributing to wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one and group sessions focused on mental skills such as confidence, focus, coping strategies, and pre-competition routines.
• Guide athletes in managing performance anxiety and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Direct psychological profiling and readiness assessments as part of athlete development plans.
• Partner closely with coaches and support staff to integrate psychological principles into training environments.
• Advise on athlete motivation, behavior, and psychological readiness.
• Oversee mental health screening and referral processes in collaboration with clinical professionals.
• Champion athlete wellbeing through proactive education and support initiatives.
• Ensure accurate records of interventions and athlete progress.
• Deliver feedback and insights to management to inform program development.
• Enforce compliance with ethical standards and safeguarding policies.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
