Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager: Technical Integration Metro Line 7 to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the successful delivery of Metro Line 7, aligning with Parsons' commitment to valuing people, embracing agility, and fostering growth within an innovative culture.
Role Overview and Objectives
The Senior Manager – Technical Integration, Metro Line 7 is responsible for end-to-end technical integration across all systems, civil works, and interfaces on Metro Line 7. This role involves leading the integration strategy, coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams and contractors, and driving integration testing and commissioning. The primary objective is to achieve safe, reliable, and timely entry into revenue service for Metro Line 7, ensuring all subsystems are fully integrated, interoperable, and compliant with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall technical integration strategy for Metro Line 7, covering design, implementation, testing, and commissioning.
- Define integration principles, standards, and acceptance criteria, aligned with programme objectives, national regulations, and industry best practice.
- Establish and chair integration forums and technical coordination meetings across all packages and disciplines, ensuring clear definition of responsibilities and interfaces.
- Apply systems engineering methodologies (requirements management, V&V, configuration control) across Metro Line 7 subsystems.
- Lead the identification, definition, and management of technical interfaces between line-wide systems, systems and civil assets, and Metro Line 7 with other lines, transport modes, and third-party utilities.
- Oversee the Interface Control Document (ICD) process and ensure timely closure of interface issues and technical queries.
- Ensure that system architectures and designs are coherent, cyber-secure, and support future scalability and upgrades.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary design reviews to ensure integrated, clash-free, and operable solutions that meet functional, performance, safety, RAMS targets, and relevant standards.
- Work closely with Independent Safety Assessor and Independent Checker/Engineer to demonstrate integrated system safety and compliance.
- Drive resolution of cross-discipline design issues, concessions, and non-conformities.
- Develop and oversee the integration testing and commissioning strategy for Metro Line 7, including factory, static, dynamic, and trial running phases.
- Define test programmes and sequences, coordinate integration tests involving multiple contractors and disciplines, and monitor test results and defect logs.
- Support safety case preparation and approvals for trial running and passenger operations, ensuring integration of safety and RAMS requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure integrated systems support operational concepts, procedures, and maintainability, contributing to operational readiness planning.
- Support the Programme Director in aligning technical integration activities with overall programme schedule and milestones.
- Develop and maintain integration work plans, schedules, and risk registers, identifying and managing technical integration risks.
- Provide regular status reports and briefings on integration progress, issues, and required decisions.
- Support change control processes, assessing the integration impacts of design changes, variations, and scope adjustments.
- Act as the principal point of contact for technical integration matters with design consultants, systems and civil contractors, supervising/PMC teams, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate timely resolution of cross-contractor issues and support management of contractor performance related to integration deliverables.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience of 5-10 years leading technical integration or systems engineering on metro/rail, airport, or major infrastructure programmes.
- Strong understanding of rail systems, including signalling/train control, telecoms, power, SCADA, PSDs, AFC, rolling stock, and their interfaces.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet challenging programme milestones.
- Experience in KSA or GCC rail/metro mega-projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the critical Metro Line 7 project. The role requires collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders in a dynamic project environment.
