Yamama Cement, a prominent industrial entity, is actively seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanic to join its operations in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of the company's production facilities through expert mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for a comprehensive range of mechanical maintenance activities, encompassing routine checks, preventive measures, and emergency repairs. A key aspect of this position involves continuous monitoring of production units to ensure optimal performance, identifying necessary tools and equipment, and strictly adhering to established safety protocols. This role contributes directly to the reliability and longevity of critical machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units and ensure they operate within designated operational limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Carry out mechanical repair work such as welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with safety procedures before starting work, including verifying the necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Yamama Cement's facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in maintaining industrial machinery and adherence to operational schedules.
