UCC Holding is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanical Technical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements. This role involves providing technical support, reviewing documentation, and facilitating coordination across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate mechanical designs, shop drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and resolve design and site-related issues.
• Review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems for compliance and functionality.
• Evaluate subcontractor material submissions, method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, architectural, structural, and other relevant disciplines.
• Ensure that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and overall project requirements.
• Conduct technical inspections and support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Monitor technical progress and contribute to project engineering reporting.
• Ensure adherence to applicable international standards and local KSA authority requirements.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably within the construction or project management sectors.
