About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the timely delivery of projects through effective schedule development, monitoring, and control. The Senior Planning Engineer will coordinate closely with various project stakeholders to maintain project timelines and resource efficiency.

Role Overview

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive management of project schedules. This involves developing detailed plans, continuously monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions. The role requires strong analytical skills to assess risks and ensure projects remain on track and within resource allocations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) utilizing planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules in collaboration with project teams.
• Establish project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule variances and delays, recommending and implementing corrective actions to mitigate impacts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to track progress and gather necessary updates.
• Identify and analyze project risks related to scheduling and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in planning software, specifically Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, and control complex project schedules.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying schedule variances, delays, and risks.
• Experience in preparing detailed progress reports.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The Senior Planning Engineer will work collaboratively with various project teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
