About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Delivery) for the Racecourse (RAC) project. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the comprehensive delivery process for a world-class racecourse within Saudi Arabia's premier entertainment destination. The successful candidate will ensure project timelines, quality standards, and budget objectives are consistently met.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate closely with design, construction, and stakeholder teams throughout the project lifecycle. This position holds critical accountability for the successful delivery of individual racecourse assets, ensuring clear decision-making, active risk management, and focused ownership at the asset level within the broader Racetrack program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of the racecourse project from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and budget.
• Ensure each individual asset is delivered with clear accountability, coherent decision-making, and active risk management within the wider Racetrack program.
• Provide focused Qiddiya ownership at the asset level, preventing asset-specific requirements, interfaces, and risks from being diluted or lost.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for the successful delivery of Racetrack assets, aligned with overall program objectives.
• Handle early pre-construction responsibilities, owning the asset-specific brief, success criteria, and performance requirements.
• Manage asset-level interfaces with adjacent assets and shared infrastructure.
• Chair asset-level governance forums, including design, commercial, and package coordination.
• Oversee management contractor performance at the asset level and confirm asset phasing, priorities, and early works requirements.
• Own the asset risk register and escalate program-critical risks.
• Review package scopes, boundaries, performance requirements, and management contractor buildability input, challenging assumptions that impact scope, quality, or risk.
• Support tender evaluation through technical, program, and delivery risk input, and own package-specific technical risks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project management within large-scale sports and entertainment venue developments, with a preference for racecourse projects.
• Proven track record in managing complex delivery projects within the construction industry.

Essential Skills and Tools

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
