The Role: Senior Road Engineer

Dar is seeking a Senior Road Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the planning, design review, and supervision of road works, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, design standards, and construction schedules. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve road design drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Monitor road construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders regarding technical issues and site progress.
• Verify quantities and ensure quality control on all roadwork-related activities.
• Review method statements and ensure safe, efficient work execution.
• Support the Project Manager in progress reporting, risk assessment, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to relevant authorities’ standards, such as those set by MOT or RCRC.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in road engineering, with a proven track record in design review, supervision, and project compliance. A strong understanding of road construction methodologies and relevant industry standards is essential for this role.
