Job Description

About the Role

Carrier, a global leader in HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security, and cold chain solutions, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This permanent, full-time role focuses on supporting service and aftermarket business, including service agreements and repairs. The Senior Sales Engineer will be instrumental in managing customer relationships, enhancing sales performance, and contributing to the company's growth by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities within the service sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals for service sales inquiries, including service repairs and maintenance contract proposals.
  • Lead negotiations to secure business at optimal profit levels.
  • Achieve order booking targets in a timely manner, consistently meeting sales metrics and annual performance objectives.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and actively develop new customer relationships to foster service revenue growth.
  • Provide professional proposals, offerings, and technical support, particularly for digitalized services, to drive service sales.
  • Oversee and ensure timely payment collection from clients.
  • Ensure the proper acquisition of sales opportunities and consistently meet financial targets.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts based on service requirements to management.
  • Execute scheduled customer visits to maintain and enhance client relationships and explore new business avenues.
  • Interact with customers to increase sales volume, market share, product awareness, and provide educational insights into Carrier's offerings.
  • Develop and expand sales channels for service agreements and service repair businesses.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective business development and relationship-building strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and solutions to effectively package and present suitable options to clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferable, or an MBA.
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience specifically within the HVAC industry.
  • Proven experience in selling service contracts and service sales within the HVAC industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
  • This role is exclusively for Saudi Nationals.
