About the Role
Hill International (Middle East) Limited is seeking a Senior Scheduling Control Engineer (E2) to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Scheduling Control Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical project control functions. This includes:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules using project management software.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and flagging areas of concern.
- Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to create mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Providing regular project status updates to project teams and management.
- Analyzing project data to identify trends and enhance project performance.
- Working with construction and engineering teams to align project schedules with overall project objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in scheduling.
- Managing schedule change requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Participating in project meetings to provide expertise on scheduling and control matters.
- Supporting project managers in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
- Ensuring adherence to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Engineering from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field, specifically on national or international major initiatives and developments.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in project scheduling control.
- Proven experience in managing and prioritizing project schedules effectively.
Required Skills and Abilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills:
- The ability to present schedule plans and requirements clearly to senior management and government authorities.
- Negotiation skills to secure project schedules among multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent communication in both Arabic and English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Location and Type
This position is based in Riyadh and is a full-time engagement.
