Senior Software Engineer Oracle Banking (m/f/d)

About the Role

Halian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Banking to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position focused on developing and optimizing solutions within the Oracle Banking ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking (FCUBS) and Oracle Treasury modules (FX, MM, Derivatives, Repos, Securities).
• Manage Oracle Limits and Collateral Management (LCM).
• Perform PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Utilize Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c) and Java / J2EE technologies.
• Administer WebLogic Server and work with Oracle ADF and Oracle JET (UI technologies).
• Develop using XML / XSD / XSLT and integrate with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Integrate with SWIFT (MT103, MT202, MT300, etc.).
• Monitor exposure and limits across various products and manage collateral and exposure utilization.
• Implement Oracle SOA Suite / Middleware Integration.
• Schedule batch jobs using tools like Control-M and Autosys.
• Work with Core Banking Modules including Accounts, Loans, Payments, and Trade Finance.
• Manage risk and interest rates within Treasury operations.
• Perform real-time limit checks and updates.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Apply Agile/Scrum Development Methodology.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation.
• Support Treasury Back Office Operations including Deal Capture, Settlement, and Confirmation.
• Implement secure coding practices and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Support testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in mentoring and code review practices.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking (FCUBS) and Oracle Treasury.
• Strong background in PL/SQL development and Oracle Database administration.
• Experience with Java / J2EE and WebLogic Server.
• Familiarity with Oracle ADF and Oracle JET (UI technologies).
• Knowledge of XML / XSD / XSLT and Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of Oracle SOA Suite / Middleware Integration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Awareness of Basel III / IFRS / Regulatory Compliance.
• Optional: Experience with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
