About the Role

KnowledgeNet is seeking a Senior Software Project Manager to oversee software projects from their initial conception through to successful completion. This full-time position is based in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project goals, objectives, timelines, and key milestones.
• Identify project requirements and constraints, and proactively manage project risks.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during project delivery.
• Manage project resources effectively to ensure assignments are fulfilled.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and manage change requests.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and adhere to all deadlines.
• Oversee Scrum events and meetings if Agile methodologies are applied.
• Determine and oversee consistent project activities, including testing, issue evaluation, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones, and other pertinent project details.
• Perform regular checks on delivered projects to identify opportunities for enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the software industry.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
• Familiarity with reporting tools, including Microsoft Project Plan and JIRA.
• A solid understanding of software development processes.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
