Role Overview and Responsibilities

This role involves designing and leading complex architectures that integrate physical security systems with IoT, AI/analytics, and cloud services for critical infrastructure and smart city initiatives. You will define comprehensive security frameworks, incorporating Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)/Command and Control (C2) platforms, data analytics, and IT/OT networks. A key aspect of this position is evaluating and integrating advanced technologies such as AI-driven analytics, digital twins, edge computing, and sensor fusion into security and operational workflows. Ensuring compliance with local and international standards, including HCIS 2017, NIST, ISO 27001, PDPL, and GDPR, is also a core responsibility.

Strategic Innovation and Project Leadership

As a technology strategist, you will shape future trends in security and smart city domains, developing roadmaps that align emerging technologies with enterprise, government, and regulatory objectives. This includes collaborating with internal R&D, partners, and ecosystem vendors to foster cyber-physical convergence capabilities. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through the entire project lifecycle, from concept to implementation, encompassing design, engineering, cybersecurity, and operations. Engaging with executive-level stakeholders to define requirements, demonstrate value, and ensure technology alignment with business outcomes is essential. Furthermore, you will support pre-sales and bid teams by providing high-level solution architectures, compliance matrices, and value propositions.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in security architecture, systems integration, or technology strategy.
• A proven track record of delivering multi-domain security solutions for smart cities, airports, utilities, and critical infrastructure.
• Strong exposure to Physical Security Systems, AI & Analytics Platforms, IoT/Edge Computing & Cloud Platforms, and Command-and-Control/PSIM Platforms.
• A solid understanding of network architectures, APIs, and data integration standards.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to articulate the future of secure, connected infrastructure.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
