About WSP and the Role

WSP is seeking an experienced Site Architect to join its PMCM team for a project located in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing architectural works on site, ensuring all construction activities adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating with various project stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect architectural construction activities to ensure full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and mock-ups.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of architectural finishes and overall workmanship.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports, snag lists, and close-out reports.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Review and provide timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries from contractors.
• Identify construction issues and propose technical solutions in collaboration with the design and PMCM teams.
• Monitor project progress to ensure architectural works are completed in line with established project schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements on site.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural site supervision, inspection, or construction administration.
• Demonstrated previous experience on large-scale mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, public realm, or mega projects.
• Prior experience working within a PMCM or Consultancy environment is highly preferred.

This role is integral to a significant project in Riyadh, requiring close collaboration with various teams and external stakeholders. The Site Architect will ensure that all architectural elements are delivered to the highest standards, contributing directly to the project's overall success and quality objectives.

Location and Candidate Preference

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia who are available for immediate joining or mobilization on short notice.
