Spare Parts Technician

About the Role

Alesayi Better Life (العيسائي لحياة أفضل) is seeking a Spare Parts Technician to manage all spare parts activities within the maintenance center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 0-1 years of experience and is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and accurate inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to receiving, handling, and maintaining spare parts inventory.
• Oversee the movement of spare parts inventory within the warehouse, including inbound and outbound items, ensuring proper order fulfillment and maintaining necessary records for inventory control and appropriate stock levels.
• Verify quantities against delivery notes and packing lists, ensuring no discrepancies or damage to received parts.
• Ensure proper storage, classification, and labeling of spare parts.
• Supervise the packing of spare parts and complete required documentation to support material shipments to requested locations.
• Review consumption reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak consumption periods, discussing findings with spare parts managers, and the purchasing, planning, and distribution supervisors.
• Inform the head office spare parts team of any high demand for specific spare parts to be considered in demand planning.
• Ensure the required minimum safety stock level for spare parts is maintained.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the warehouse and ensure safety and security procedures are correctly applied.
• Inspect the physical condition of warehouses and equipment, requesting tests, maintenance, repair, or replacement as needed.
• Review pending reports daily and assist technicians in identifying the correct part number, alternative part number, and any other solutions as needed.
• Provide and arrange storage facilities as required.
• Report any inventory-related issues or discrepancies to the warehouse and distribution supervisor.
• Determine appropriate storage methods, ABC classifications, and storage locations for spare parts based on inventory turnover rate, environmental factors, and available capacity and space in the warehouse.
• Prepare, transfer, and ship required spare parts within 24 hours.
• Dispense required and available spare parts to technicians within 3 hours.
• Maintain inventory accuracy at 98%.
• Record received spare parts in the system within 24 hours from the date of receipt from the shipping company.

Qualifications and Experience

• High Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
