About the Special Bids Management Expert Role

stc is seeking a Special Bids Management Expert to lead bid management for complex and strategic deals in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and commercial outcome optimization through effective end-to-end bid process management.

Role Overview and Strategic Alignment

The role holder is responsible for developing and implementing bid strategies and governance frameworks across various sales verticals. This ensures that all bids, both standard and complex, align with overarching business goals and adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements. The position demands a thorough understanding of business policies and procedures to guide all activities.

Key Responsibilities in Bid Management

  • Manage the complete bid lifecycle, from initial receipt and analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to the final response.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including sales, finance, legal, and technology units to ensure comprehensive and accurate proposal development.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimations, vendor selection, and business case preparation and approval processes.
  • Ensure all proposals meet the requirements of CST and other regulatory bodies, proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in bidding processes, tools, and templates, and provide strategic recommendations for bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional communication throughout the proposal lifecycle, facilitating timely handover of awarded projects.
  • Lead post-bid reviews and performance evaluations to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized bid knowledge repository for easy access and dissemination of bid-related information.
  • Stay informed about market trends, procurement regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance business competitiveness in strategic bids.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in bid management or a closely related field. A strong understanding of end-to-end bid processes, regulatory compliance, and commercial optimization is essential. The ability to coordinate effectively with diverse internal stakeholders and manage complex projects is critical for success in this role.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role is integral to the operations within the Saudi Arabian market.
